Rolex Elevates Its Sailing Presence as the New Title Sponsor for SailGP

Rolex has recently made a strategic shift in its sports sponsorship portfolio by becoming the title sponsor for SailGP, the premier global sailing competition. This new partnership follows Rolex’s departure from its long-standing association with Formula 1, marking a significant redirection of its sponsorship strategy.

The announcement comes as the sailing series prepares to adopt its new title, the Rolex SailGP Championship. This move strengthens Rolex’s commitment to the world of sailing—a relationship that started in 2019—and underscores its dedication to precision and performance, values that are intrinsic to both Rolex and SailGP.

Starting this weekend, the Rolex SailGP Championship will showcase an enhanced experience for fans, with improved broadcast graphics and a more engaging viewing setup. These updates are designed to bring viewers closer to the action, offering detailed insights into the races and making each competition more immersive.

Furthermore, as part of the agreement, Rolex will also take on the title sponsorship for the Rolex Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix in March 2025 and will continue as the Official Timepiece of SailGP through to the end of Season 14.

The partnership was officially unveiled at the launch of the 2025 season in Dubai, where Rolex and SailGP celebrated their shared vision for pushing boundaries in sailing and inspiring future generations.
